About Me

Embedded design allows me to create new technologies and modify existing ones to achieve functionality never before envisioned. I hold a Bachelors of Science in software engineering from the University of Advancing Technology, though the majority of my embedded design skills are self taught. While in college I led many projects to completion including the UAT Nearspace project which successfully delivered a balloon payload to 93,000ft ASL. While I specialize in embedded systems and electrical engineering, I also maintain skills in a wide variety of other fields that I feel enhance and enrich my work as a whole.

I enjoy the art of photography and I am constantly revisiting my passion for 3D modeling and animation. I hold an FCC technician class amateur radio license with which I experiment in radio communications and control. I love the outdoors and occasionally go climbing, camping, and hiking. My passion for electronics and hardware hacking has led me to the Blackhat and Defcon network security conferences three years in a row and Make Magazine's Maker Faire for the past four years. Projects are my passion and I'm always looking forward to the next great challenge.
